Welcome to the Dallas North Texas Scottish Country Dance page. The purpose of this group and this web is to
promote and educate the people of Dallas and North Texas about Scottish Country
Dancing and
to have fun. If you are not from Dallas, well stick around anyway and
pretend you are -- we won't mind. We have or will provide a number of resources here to help you
ask questions, make suggestions, and even get started dancing. You can
join our new mailing list here.

As we discussed in class, we will be having an 8-10 week Fall Ball Course starting for beginners August 9th (tentatively) and ending with a trip to Houston for the Tartan Ball and/or Workshop in October. Cost and other details are still TBD. I should have fliers and such available by the 12th.
Six Flags Demo: July 22nd, 12:00 and 1:00 pm.
Publicity photos are available here.
Online Practice Exercises: The our little mascot has been going
through some upgrades lately. I should have some new exercises soon and
I'll be revamping the old ones shortly thereafter.
Thank You! Angie, Beth, and Brett for helping
out on our last minute demo at Foster.
Beginners: Check out the new Beginner's Page
featuring Douce Davy Dallas for practical exercises and helpful hints to
get you on your way to being an expert Scottish Country Dancer. If you've finally
mustered the courage to jump into one of our classes and want to improve your
dancing or find out what you're in for, then this is the place to go. We
were all beginners once and we all want to see you make it to the next level.
Thank you for visiting the NTSCD home page. Please come back often and
